     Pvt. Solano, a graduate of Barringer High School, has been assigned to Detachment 2, Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 2nd and 113th Infantry Battalion located at the National Guard Armory in Newark.  After completing Basic Training at Ft. Jackson, S.C., he will attend Advanced Individual Training as a Food Service Specialist. Food Service Operations prepares all types of food according to standard and dietetic recipes, as well as ordering and inspecting food supplies and preparing meats for cooking.
