West New York Resident Joins New Jersey Army National Guard

Pvt. Martinez, a senior at Memorial High School, has been assigned to A Company, 50th Main Support Battalion located at the National Guard Armory in Teaneck. After completing Basic Training at Basic Training at Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo., she will attend Advanced Individual Training as a Quartermaster and Chemical Repairer. The Quartermaster and Chemical Equipment Repairer is primarily responsible for supervising or performing maintenance on chemical equipment, quartermaster machinery, forced air-heaters and special purpose equipment.
