What: Welcome Home after a nine-month, active duty deployment to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba

 

When: Thursday, March 24 - 3:30 p.m.

 

Where: National Guard Armory - Eggert Crossing Rd, Lawrenceville, NJ

 

 

Details: On Thursday, March 24th at 3:30 p.m., more than 70 recently returned members of Headquarters, 50th Brigade, New Jersey Army National Guard, will be the focus of a “Welcome Home” ceremony following the successful completion of their nine-month long deployment to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.  The deployment was part of Operation Enduring Freedom in support of the ongoing global war against terrorism. 50th Brigade Headquarters, comprised primarily of members stationed at the National Guard armories in Lawrenceville and Port Murray, was an integral element of Joint Task Force - Guantanamo (JTF-GTMO).

 

      The ceremony will take place on the drill floor of the Lawrenceville Armory.

 

      Family members, friends, and the local community have been invited to attend.
