| South Toms River Resident Joins New Jersey Army National Guard
South Toms River resident Tamisma D. Jones is congratulated by Maj. William A. Heineman, Executive Officer, Recruiting and Retention, New Jersey Army National Guard, upon Jones' enlistment in the New Jersey Army National Guard at Fort Dix Feb. 23.
Pvt. Jones, a graduate of Toms River High School South, has been assigned to A Company, 250th Signal Battalion located at the National Guard Armory in Sea Girt. After completing Basic at Fort Jackson, S.C., she will begin her advanced individual training as a Logistics Supply Specialist.
