Union Resident Joins New Jersey Army National Guard
Union resident Latoya J. Headd enlisted in the New Jersey Army National Guard at Fort Hamilton Military Entrance Processing Station Sept. 23.
Pvt. Headd, a North Plainfield High School graduate, has been assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 50th Main Support Battalion, located at the National Guard Armory in Teaneck. After completing Basic Training at Fort Jackson, S.C., she will attend Advanced Individual Training Laundry and Textile Specialist.
Anyone interested in joining the New Jersey Army National Guard and wants
to attend college tuition free, while earning a part-time income and serving
