Suffolk Resident Joins New Jersey Army National Guard
Photo Caption: Suffolk, N.Y., resident Gary DeGrijze enlisted in the New Jersey Army National Guard at Fort Hamilton Military Entrance Processing Station Aug. 20.
Pfc. DeGrijze, a student of Suny College, has been assigned A Company, 1st Battalion, 114th Infantry, located at the National Guard Armory in Mount Holly. After completing Basic Training at Fort Benning, Ga., he will attend Advanced Individual Training as an Infantryman.
Anyone interested in joining the New Jersey Army National Guard and wants
to attend college tuition free, while earning a part-time income and serving
