Lodi Resident Joins New Jersey Army National Guard
Lodi resident David A. LaForge, Jr. enlisted in the New Jersey Army National Guard at Jersey City June 21.
Spc. LaForge has been assigned to the A Company, 50th Main Support Battalion, located at the National Guard Armory in Teaneck. He will be trained as a Light Wheel Mechanic. The Light-Wheel Vehicle Mechanic is primarily responsible for supervising and performing maintenance and recovery operations on light-wheeled vehicles and associated items, as well as track and heavy-wheeled vehicles.
