On Thursday morning, May 27, 2004, between 6:30-7:30 a.m., media are invited to visit with the members of Headquarter and Headquarters Company, 42nd Division Support Command (DISCOM) at the Somerset Armory, 1060 Hamilton Street, Somerset, N.J.  Soldiers and their family members will be at the armory preparing for the unit's move to the mobilization station at Fort Dix, N.J. [The soldiers will leave for Fort Dix at 7:30 a.m.]

     More than 150 personnel from this unit are scheduled to deploy to Southwest Asia.

     Individual soldiers from this unit and some family members will be available on a voluntary basis for photo's, on-air interviews, or to respond to any questions from print media.

     Representatives of any interested media outlets must register with Staff Sgt. Barbara Harbison, Public Affairs Office, NJDMAVA, prior to 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 26, 2004.    Messages may be left on voice mail and must include media outlet, name(s) of reporters and photographers who plan on attending, and a point of contact with phone number.
