Veterans can learn more about benefits or entitlements that they could be eligible to receive just by visiting Bridgewater Commons on September 2, 3 and 4. The New Jersey Department of Military and Veterans Affairs will be bringing benefit information to ‘those who served' as part of the Veterans Outreach Program to the mall located at the intersection of State Routes 202/206 and 22 in Bridgewater from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. each day.

      On Tuesday, Sept. 2 at 10:30 a.m. there will be a presentation of the New Jersey Distinguished Service Medal to several veterans in the mall center court near the location of the ‘One Mall a Month' traveling kiosk. Medal recipients and their families can use the entrance between Lord & Taylor and Macy's on the west side of the mall closest to Routes 202/206.

      The ‘One Mall a Month' traveling kiosk will be located near the center court of the mall. The Outreach Program's purpose is to inform as many veterans and their families of all the benefits that they may be eligible to receive from the state and federal governments.
