Hughes Receives New Jersey Commendation
Medal
Hillsborough, NJ - Specialist Jason M. Hughes, of the Headquarters,
42nd Infantry Division Support Command, Somerset, N.J. of the New Jersey
Army National Guard, has been decorated with the New Jersey Commendation
Medal. He was awarded the medal for his meritorious service while serving
as the unit supply specialist. The medal is awarded to those individuals
who demonstrate outstanding achievement or meritorious service in the performance
of their duties on behalf of the Army National Guard.
Hughes is a supply specialist with the DISCOM. He has been a member
of the military for four years.
Spc. Hughes resides in Hillsborough with his parents, William and Patricia
Hughes.
He is a 1999 graduate of Hillsborough High School, Hillsborough and
a 2001 graduate of Raritan Valley Community College, Branchburg, N.J.
