Egg Harbor Township Resident Joins New Jersey Army National Guard

Pvt. Gifford, a senior at the Absegami High School, has been assigned to the Detachment 1, 253rd Transportation Company located at the National Guard Armory in Tuckerton. After completing Basic Training at Fort Leon Wood, Mo., he will attend Advanced Individual Training as a Chemical Operation Specialist.
Anyone interested in joining the New Jersey Army National Guard and wants
to attend college tuition free, while earning a part-time income and serving
