Perth Amboy Resident Joins New Jersey Army National Guard
Perth Amboy resident Eric Pastrana enlisted in the New Jersey Army National Guard at Fort Hamilton Military Entrance Processing Station June 2.
Pvt. Pastrana, a junior at Perth Amboy High School, has been assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 250 th Signal Battalion, located at the National Guard Armory in Westfield. After completing Basic Training at Fort Jackson, S.C., he will attend Advanced Individual Training next summer as a Light Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic.

interested in joining the New Jersey Army National Guard and wants to
attend college tuition free, while earning a part-time income and serving
