Veterans can learn more about their benefits and entitlements just by visiting the Ocean County Mall on May 16 to 18.

      The New Jersey Department of Military and Veterans Affairs will be bringing benefit information to ‘those who served' as part of the Veterans Outreach Program to the mall located on Hooper Avenue in Toms River from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.

      On Thursday, May 17 at 10:30 a.m. there will be a presentation of the New Jersey Distinguished Service Medal to several veterans in the mall center court near the location of the ‘One Mall a Month' traveling kiosk.

      The Outreach Program's purpose is to inform as many veterans and their families of all the benefits that they may be eligible to receive from the state and federal governments.
