NJ Army Guard To Host Boy Scouts For Weekend
Who: N.J. Army National Guard to host Boy Scout event
What: Boy Scouts of America Order of the Arrow Conclave
When: Saturday, June 10, from 8-10 a.m.
Where: JT2DC, Fort Dix, N.J.
The Joint Training and Training Development Center (JT2DC) of the N.J. Army National Guard at Fort Dix, N.J., will host the Boy Scout Order of the Arrow from June 9-11. Approximately 300 Boy Scouts are expected to attend the weekend.
Throughout the weekend the Boy Scouts will be given a broad exposure to what life is like in the Army. The Boy Scouts will sleep in the barracks, live and train just like Soldiers. The Scouts will participate in multiple round robin stations – including a first aid, land navigation, military simulations, Counterdrug Education, physical ability test and football toss.
