Newark Resident Joins New Jersey Army National Guard

Pvt. Leon, a graduate of Malcolm X Shabazz High School, has been assigned to A Troop, 5th Squadron, 117th Cavalry, located at the National Guard Armory in Dover. After completing Basic Training at Fort Knox, Ky., he will attend Advanced Individual Training as a Quartermaster and Chemical Equipment Repairer.
