Freedom Salute Ceremony To Honor Guardsmen
Who/What:
The Leadership
of the New Jersey Army National Guard will honor the Soldiers of the 119th
Corps Support Battalion that served in Operation Iraqi Freedom, their
families and those who supported them at a Freedom Salute Ceremony at
the Hammonton High School.
When: Saturday, March 11 at 2 p.m.
Where: Hammonton High School, 566 Old Forks Road, Hammonton, N.J., 08037
The public is invited to attend.
More Details: In addition to the troops' family members and friends, the event may include participation by Maj. Gen. Glenn K. Rieth – The Adjutant General of New Jersey, local elected officials, community representatives, senior members of the New Jersey Army and Air National Guard, veterans organizations and Family Program and Family Support personnel from around the state. The Freedom Salute Campaign is the one of the largest Army National Guard recognition endeavors in history, designed to publicly acknowledge Army National Guard soldiers and those who supported them during the President's call to duty for recent military operations.
