Westfield Community Volunteers To Be Honored With Breakfast; And Soldiers With Parade
WHO/WHAT: The Family Readiness Group of the New Jersey Army National Guard, 50th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 102nd Cavalry Headquarters Troop who returned from deployment in Iraq will be honored with a parade at noon.
Earlier the same morning FRG volunteers and supporters from the local community will be honored at a breakfast being held at the armory.
More than 2,000 hours of volunteer time and amounting to nearly $50,000 in donations of goods, services and professional volunteer hours have been provided to support the Soldiers and their families of the Westfield armory.
