HISTORIC WEST POINT SITE FOR KORUS DAY '99

International event sponsored by "TEAM KOREA"

Fort Lee, NJ: The United States Military Academy @ West Point, NY in conjunction with "TEAM KOREA", has arranged for KORUS DAY '99 this fall. It is the premier kick-off event for the promotion of the commemoration events concerning the Korean War back home in Korea.

KORUS DAY '99 DETAILS:

Date: September 11, 1999

Venue: The United States Military Academy @ West Point, NY – Michie Stadium

Game: Army vs. Wake Forest

Start time: 12-noon

USMA is offering the game day tickets at a discounted price of $19 for all Korean War Veterans. Tickets may be obtained by calling the West Point ticket office at telephone 914-446-4996 between the hours of 8am and 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. When Calling for your tickets please give group identification number 106 to receive the discounted ticket price.

Although the event is organized by KNTO-USA, principle organizer, the event is an entire "TEAM KOREA" event. Who is "TEAM KOREA"? It is government, business, civic organizations and Korean people worldwide coming together for the purpose of honoring the American Korean War Veteran.
