MEDIA ADVISORY – BATTLESHIP NEW JERSEY - TENTATIVE SCHEDULE
The Battleship USS New Jersey is on its way home and will be in Delaware Bay on November 6 and 7. Below is the current tow plan from the Captain of the Tug "Sea Victory" which is towing the USS New Jersey. Times are accurate as of today, but are weather and event sensitive and may change before November 6th.
We suggest the public may want to go to the sites we recommend on our website ( Fort Mott, Pennsville, NJ; Red Bank Battlefield, National Park, NJ; or Memorial Park in Marcus Hook, PA.) to get a view of the USS New Jersey as she passes. We will provide more up-to-date information as the ship nears Delaware Bay via press release and the Battleship New Jersey website. (www.battleship-newjersey.org)
Captain Kaare Ogaard provided the following information regarding the USS New Jersey's estimated-time-of-arrival at Cape Henlopen through her arrival at the
Philadelphia Naval Yard.

3:00 p.m./Mile 00.0 -- Arrival Cape Henlopen Sea Buoy/Pilot Station
4:00 p.m./Mile 05.0 -- Precautionary Area, Speed = 5.0 knots
4:55 p.m. – Sunset
5:30 p.m./Mile 07.0 -- Precautionary Area, Speed = dead in water/drifting
7:00 p.m./Mile 10.7 -- Brown Shoal Light, enter Brandywine Range, Speed = 2.5 knots
10:00 p.m./Mile 21.2 -- Brandywine Range at Miah Maull Range/Light "19," Speed = 3.5 knots
