Watson Takes Command Of 254th

Col. Watson, is back where he received his commission. In June of 1977 he graduated the Officer Candidate School as a Second Lieutenant. Upon graduation, he was assigned to the 3-112th Field Artillery, in Morristown. In 1996 he assumed command of the 3-112th. His most recent assignment was as Chief of Military Support at the New Jersey National Guard headquarters at Fort Dix.

Col. Watson is a graduate of the Field Artillery Officer Basic Course, Field Artillery Officer Advance Course, Command and General Staff College and the Field Artillery Pre-Command Course. He is a graduate of the United States Army War College. His awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Army Reserve Component Achievement Medal, Armed Forces Reserve Medal and the Army Service Ribbon.
