Bank Robber May Have Struck Again
State Police Announce Reward

On Saturday, May 21, 2005, a man robbed the Dayton Branch of the PNC bank and escaped with cash. There are numerous similarities between this robbery and one that occurred on April 30, 2005 at the Rocky Hill branch of the Bank of America. State Police detectives believe the same subject may be responsible for both crimes.

A cash reward of $1,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the subject.

Surveillance photos of the Rocky Hill robbery show a black male approximately 20 years old, between 5’8” and 6 feet tall wearing a blue t-shirt with an ECKO logo and a rhinoceros graphic. The man also wore a dark, tight fitting cloth cap on his head.

Anyone with information should call State Police detectives at Hamilton station at 609-584-5000 X5288 or the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office at 908-575-3403.

For those receiving this over a fax: A black and white surveillance photo from the Rocky Hill robbery is available at njsp.org under press releases.
