MANGIARACINA, Giaccomo, M.D. The Attorney General has filed a Motion for Summary Decision on the Complaint filed in this matter based on the Respndents’ sentencing for the crime of federal tax evasion. The liability phase of the motion is scheduled to be heard before the Board. IV. OLD BUSINESS
A. I/M/O KELSEY, Alan, M.D. Dr. Kelsey has requested a modificiation to his Consent Order. Relevant documents, including a response from the Attorney General, are attached for the Board’s consideraton. V. NEW BUSINESS
A. DARA, Parvez, M.D. 25MA03329200 The Attorney General filed an Order to Show Cause and Notice of Hearing seeking the Temporary Suspension of Dr. Dara’s license. The Attorney General’s applicaiton for the Temporary Suspension is premised on allegations that the licensee failed to maintain sanitary conditions or basic infection control practices which failure may have caused and/or contributed to five patients becoming infected with hepatitis B. A Hearing Committee heard the matter on Friday, April 3. Its report and recommendations are before the Board. The Board is asked to accept, modify or reject the Hearing Committee’s findings and conclusions of law. |
