The Transportation, Construction and Condemnation
Section provides general counsel to the Department
of Transportation, NJ Transit and the Motor
Vehicles Commission. This section also provides
representation and counsel across State government
with respect to construction contracts (roads,
buildings and other facilities), condemnation,
and litigation related thereto. For New Jersey
Transit, the section handles real estate transactions,
labor relations issues and federal railroad
regulatory work. For the DOT, work also includes
regulatory matters, such as aeronautics, highway
access and outdoor advertising.
