- Please be advised that the New Jersey
Governor’s Juvenile Justice and Delinquency
Prevention (JJDP) Committee
will hold a regular meeting on Wednesday,
September 23, 2009 at 10:00
a.m. at the Hughes Justice Complex, 4th floor
conference center, Room A1-4.
Agenda items may include: the approval of
an application from Lawrence Township for
a stationhouse adjustment program; an application
from the Department of Children and Families
to support the Nurse Family Partnership program
in Hudson and Union counties; and an application
from the JJC to support the monitoring of
New Jersey’s compliance with the JJDP
Act; a presentation evaluating two previously
funded Bodega Projects that support youth
returning to their communities from JJC residential
placements; reports on the activities of the
Council for Juvenile Justice Systems Improvement
(CJJSI) and the Coalition for Juvenile Justice
(CJJ); and updates on the Governor’s
Safe Streets and Neighborhoods Initiative,
the committee’s gender, disproportionate
minority confinement and truancy initiatives.
