Un Hombre del Condado de Monmouth es Acusado de Distribución de Pornografía por Internet

TRENTON - La Fiscal GeneralAnne Milgram informó que un hombre del Condado de Monmouth fue acusado de distribuir pornografia infantil a través del internet.

Stuart Patterson, de 43 años, de Keansburg, fue acusado por un jurado investigador de distribución de pornografia infantil en segundo grado y posesión de pornografia infantil en cuarto grado,según informó la directora de Justicia Criminal Deborah L. Gramiccioni.

Se presume que Patterson que mediante el internet y utilizando America Online, envió un correo electrónico conteniendo pornografia infantil en noviembre de 2007.

Patterson, fue arrestado el 10 de octubre de 2008 al momento que la Policia Estatal de New Jersey efectuó un registro de su vivienda mediante una orden judicial y alli encontraron múltiples imagenes de pornografia infantil en la computadora que usba Patterson en su vivienda. El sospechoso fue puesto en libertad sin pagar una fianza.

Members of the New Jersey State Police Digital Technology Investigations Unit coordinated the investigation. Deputy Attorney General Lee Schaer presented the case to the state grand jury.

Los delitos en segundo grado se castigan con sentencias máximas de 10 años en prisión y una multa de $150,000 , Los delitos en cuarto grado se castigan con sentencias de 18 meses en prision y el pago de una multa de $10,000.

Los cargos fueron formulados por la Juez de la Corte Superior Linda R. Feinberg en el condado de Mercer quien asignó el caso al condado de Hudson, donde Patterson deberá comparecer. Patterson vivio en este condado al momento de ocurrir el presunto delito.
