NEWARK – In response to a petition for rulemaking, the State Board of Dentistry is proposing amendments to its regulations to expand the scope of practice for a licensed dental hygienist, registered dental assistant, and limited registered dental assistant in orthodontics (LRDA-O), and to modify the registration requirements for a limited registered dental assistant in orthodontics.
