52:4B-16. Notice of examination; time of report;
expert as witness at hearing

The designated expert, upon receipt of all the reports, records
and other pertinent medical information, shall fix the time and
place of examination and give notice thereof to the applicant or
his attorney who may be present with applicant at said examination.
The report of said expert shall be filed with the board prior to
the date set for the hearing of the matter. If, in the discretion
of the board, the testimony of said expert is required at the hearing,
he shall be called as a witness and he may be cross-examined.
