Schedule Petition Filing Appointment
In an effort to improve the Petition Filing experience, the Division of Elections is now offering petition filers an opportunity to schedule an appointment prior to the petition filing date. Scheduling an appointment will improve the petition filing process and help reduce the time spent filing your petition.
The Filing Deadline for Independent Candidates for the November 5, 2013 General Election is June 4, 2013.
We suggest filing your petition as early as possible!
Independent candidate petitions can be filed at the Division of Elections on or before June 4, 2013. The petitions will be processed on a first come first filied basis.
Please select the time you would like to schedule to file your Petition below and fill out the information at the bottom of the form. You will be contacted by the Division of Elections to confirm the selected time or to suggest a different one if it's booked. Remember you do not have an appointment until you are contacted by the Division of Elections.
