Rail Transit Agencies
There are currently four Rail Fixed Guideway Public Transportation Systems (RFGPTS) subject to the provisions of the SSO program: The NJ SSOA is responsible for overseeing the safety of four rail systems that operate under the jurisdiction of the State of New Jersey. One system, PATCO, also operates in Philadelphia, PA.
