Cranberry Lake Park and Ride
Certain parts of the NJ Transit facility known as the Cranberry Lake Park and Ride, located in the Township of Byram in Sussex County, are under New Jersey Department of Transportation jurisdiction.  Traffic within the transit center is hereby controlled by the following regulations:
(a) All vehicles must park in designated areas and between the lines provided within the park and ride.
(b) The certain parts of the park and ride described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “no stopping or standing” zones, where stopping or standing is prohibited at all times:
(1) No stopping or standing along both sides:
(A) Along the western (Lakeside) portion of the park and ride.
(c) The certain parts of the park and ride described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “no parking certain hours” zones where parking is permitted as described:
(1) No parking between 12:00 AM and 5:00 AM except overnight private residential parking:
(A) Within the entire park and ride complex as indicated on the site plan.
(d) The use of the certain parts of the park and ride described in this subsection is hereby restricted to certain classes of vehicles as described:
(1) No parking for vehicles over four (4) tons gross vehicle weight (GVW) or with more than two (2) axles except for municipal or emergency vehicles:
(A) Within the entire park and ride complex as indicated on the site plan.
(e) The certain parts of the park and ride described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “handicapped parking” areas for the use of persons who have been issued special vehicle identification cards by the Motor Vehicle Commission in accordance with the provisions of NJSA 39:4-197.5:
(1) Handicapped Parking:
(A) Within the designated parking areas as indicated on the site plan, during all hours.
(f) The certain parts of the park and ride described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “no parking bus stop” zones, where the parking of any vehicle other than omnibuses, picking up or discharging passengers, is prohibited at all times:
(1) Bus stops:
(A) Along the Route US 206 area of shelter as indicated on the site plan.
NOTE: Exempt leased private residential right of way and parking pursuant to Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) lease #09-001-71: Two (2) parking stalls as designated on the approved site plan and right of way access to the residence at Block 337, Lot 2 shall be exempt from the parking regulations above.
(g) No person shall advertise or offer for sale goods or merchandise of any kind, exchange in any other commercial activity, or solicit contributions for any cause, on any portion of the park and ride.  Incidental “For Sale” signs in an otherwise legally parked vehicle shall not be considered to constitute commercial activity within the general prohibition contained within.
(h) The entire park and ride complex is restricted to motor vehicle and pedestrian traffic only.
(i) The rate of speed designated for the certain parts of the park and ride described in this subsection are hereby established and adopted as the maximum legal rate of speed:
(1) For both directions of traffic:
(A) Zone 1: 15 MPH along all roadways and parking lots within the entire complex.
(j) The certain parts of the park and ride described in this subsection are hereby designated for one way traffic:
(1) One-way streets in the southbound direction:
(A) For the entire length of the roadway through the complex.
(k) The certain parts of the park and ride described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “tow-away zones”, where any vehicle parked or standing may be removed by towing the vehicle at the owners or operators expense:
(1) Tow-Away Zones:
(A) Any vehicles parked or standing as to obstruct or impede a normal flow of traffic, block entrances or exit ways, loading zones, oil fills, any grassy area, pedestrian walkway, or present in any way a safety or traffic hazard.
(l) Turning movements for the certain parts of the park and ride described in this subsection are hereby regulated as follows:
(1) No left turn for the westbound direction of traffic:
(A) Along the southernmost driveway of the park and ride from westbound out of the driveway onto Route US 206 northbound.
