Restricted Parking and Stopping

Route NJ 166
(a) The certain parts of State Highway Route NJ 166 described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “no stopping or standing” zones, where stopping or standing is prohibited at all times:
1. In Ocean County:
i. In the Borough of Beachwood:
ii. In the Borough of South Toms River:
(1) No stopping or standing along the northbound (easterly) side:
(A) Between a point 825 feet south of the southerly curb line of Water Street and the South Toms River Borough – Toms River Township corporate line.
(2) No stopping or standing along the southbound (westerly) side:
(A) Between the South Toms River Borough – Toms River Township corporate line and a point 675 feet south of the southerly curb line of Water Street.
iii. In the Township of Toms River:
(1) No stopping or standing along both sides:
(A) Between the northerly curb line of Route NJ 37 and the center line of Route US 9 (approximate mileposts 1.95 to 3.75).
(2) No stopping or standing along the northbound (easterly) side:
(A) Between the South Toms River Borough – Toms River Township corporate line and the southerly curb line of Water Street.
(B) Between the northerly curb line of Water Street (County Route 549) and a point 78 feet north therefrom.
(C) Between the southerly curb line of Washington Street (County Route 4) and a point 105 feet south therefrom.
(D) Between the northerly curb line of Washington Street and the southerly curb line of Legion Court.
(E) Between a point 150 feet south of the southerly curb line of Dayton Avenue and a point 120 feet north of the northerly curb line of Dayton Avenue.
(3) No stopping or standing along the southbound (westerly) side:
(A) Between the southerly curb line of Route NJ 37 and the prolongation of the northerly curb line of Washington Street.
(B)  Between the southerly curb line of Washington Street (County Route 4) and a point 135 feet south therefrom.
(C) Between the northerly curb line of Water Street (County Route 549) and a point 182 feet northerly therefrom.
(b) The certain parts of State Highway Route NJ 166 described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “no parking bus stop” zones, where the parking of any vehicle other than omnibuses, picking up or discharging passengers, is prohibited at all times:
1. In Ocean County:
i. In the Township of Toms River:
(1) Near side bus stops along the northbound (easterly) side:
(A) James Street – Beginning at the southerly curb line of James Street and extending 105 feet southerly therefrom.
(B) Lynn Drive – Beginning at the southerly curb line of Lynn Drive and extending 105 feet southerly therefrom.
(C) Suburban Drive – Beginning at the southerly curb line of Suburban Drive and extending 105 feet southerly therefrom.
(D) Colonial Drive – Beginning at the southerly curb line of Colonial Drive and extending 105 feet southerly therefrom.
(2) Far side bus stops along the northbound (easterly) side:
(A) Dover Street – Beginning at the northerly curb line of Dover Street and extending 100 feet northerly therefrom.
(B) West Gateway Avenue – Beginning at the northerly curb line of West Gateway Avenue and extending 100 feet northerly therefrom.
(C) Fernwood Drive – Beginning at the northerly curb line of Fernwood Drive and extending 120 feet northerly therefrom.
(3) Mid-block bus stops along the northbound (easterly) side:
(A) Between Hilltop Road and Briar Knolls Apartment access – Beginning at a point 330 feet north of the northerly curb line of Hilltop Road and extending 135 feet northerly therefrom.
(4) Near side bus stops along the southbound (westerly) side:
(A) Glenwood Road – Beginning at the northerly curb line of Glenwood Road and extending 105 feet northerly therefrom.
(5) Far side bus stops along the southbound (westerly) side:
(A) Colonial Drive – Beginning at the prolongation of the southerly curb line of Colonial Drive and extending 100 feet southerly therefrom.
(B) Broad Street – Beginning at the southerly curb line of Broad Street and extending 100 feet southerly therefrom.
(6) Mid-block bus stops along the southbound (westerly) side:
(A) Between Lomwell Lane and Hilltop Road – Beginning at a point 920 feet south of the prolongation of the southerly curb line of Lomell Lane and extending 135 feet southerly therefrom.
(B) South Dakota Avenue – Beginning at a point 100 feet south of the southerly curb line of South Dakota Avenue and extending 135 feet southerly therefrom.
(C) Between Winteringham Drive and Presidential Boulevard – Beginning at a point 1,225 feet south of the southerly curb line of Winteringham Drive and extending 135 feet southerly therefrom.
(D) Between Route NJ 37 and Highland Parkway – Beginning at a point 180 feet south of the southerly curb line of Route NJ 37 and extending 135 feet southerly therefrom.
(c) The certain parts of State Highway Route NJ 166 described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “time limit parking” (metered) zones where parking is permitted as described:
1. In Ocean County:
i.  In the Township of Toms River:
(1) Two (2) hour time limit parking (metered) between 8:30 AM and 6:00 PM along the northbound (easterly) side, except Sundays and public holidays:
(A) Between a point 78 feet north of the northerly curb line of Water Street (County Route 549) and a point 105 feet south of the southerly curb line of Washington Street (County Route 4) (16 spaces).
(2) Two (2) hour time limit parking (metered) between 8:30 AM and 6:00 PM along the southbound (westerly) side, except Sundays and public holidays:
(A) Between a point 135 feet south of the prolongation of the southerly curb line of Washington Street (County Route 4) and a point 182 feet north of the northerly curb line of Water Street (County Route 549) (6 spaces).
