Restricted Parking and Stopping

Route NJ 23
(a) The certain parts of State Highway Route NJ 23 described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “no stopping or standing” zones, where stopping or standing is prohibited at all times:
1. In Essex County:
i.  In the Township of Verona:
(1) No stopping or standing along the northbound (easterly) side:
(A) Between the northerly curb line of Nassau Road and the northerly curb line of Woodland Avenue.
(2) No stopping or standing along the southbound (westerly) side:
(A) Between the southerly curb line of Woodland Avenue and a point 300 feet south of the southerly curb line of Linden Avenue.
ii.  In the Township of Cedar Grove:
(1) No stopping or standing along the northbound (easterly) side:
(A) Between the Verona Borough – Cedar Grove Township corporate line and the center line of East Bradford Avenue.
(B) Between a point 230 feet north of the center line Cedar Street and the center line of Bowden Road.
(C) Between the center line of Peckmantown Road and the Little Falls Township – Cedar Grove Township corporate line.
(2) No stopping or standing along the southbound (westerly) side:
(A) Between the Little Falls Township – Cedar Grove Township corporate line and the center line of Brunswick Road.
(B) Between a point 650 feet south of the center line of Grove Avenue and a point 850 feet south of the of the center line of Grove Avenue.
(C) Between the center line of Church Street and a point 300 feet south of the center line of Church Street.
(D) Between the center line of West Bradford Avenue and a point 100 feet south of the center line of West Bradford Avenue.
(E) Between the center line of Sweetwood Drive and the Verona Borough – Cedar Grove Township corporate line.
2. In Passaic County:
Note: State Highway Route NJ 23 is coincident with State Highway Route US 202 from approximate mileposts 6.82 to 8.94.
i. In the Township of Wayne:
(1) No stopping or standing along both sides:
(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits, including all ramps and connections thereto, which are under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions.
3. In Morris County:
i. In the Township of Pequannock:
(1) No stopping or standing along both sides:
(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits, including all ramps and connections thereto, which are under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions.
ii. In the Borough of Kinnelon:
(1) No stopping or standing along both sides:
(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits, including all ramps and connections thereto, which are under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions.
iii. In the Township of Jefferson:
(1) No stopping or standing along both sides:
(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits, including all ramps and connections thereto, which under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions.
4. In Sussex County:
i.  In the Township of Hardyston:
(1) No stopping or standing along both sides:
(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits, including all ramps and connections thereto, which under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions.
ii.  In the Borough of Franklin:
(1) No stopping or standing along both sides:
(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits, including all ramps and connections thereto, which under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions.
iii. In the Borough of Hamburg:
(1) No stopping or standing along both sides:
(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits, including all ramps and connections thereto, which under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions.
iv. In the Township of Wantage:
(1) No stopping or standing along both sides:
(A) From the Hardyston Township - Wantage Township corporate line to the Borough of Sussex - Wantage Township corporate line.
v.  In the Borough of Sussex:
(1) No stopping or standing along both sides:
(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits, including all ramps and connections thereto, which under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions.
(b) The certain parts of State Highway Route NJ 23 described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “no parking bus stop” zones, where the parking of any vehicle other than omnibuses, picking up or discharging passengers, is prohibited at all times:
1. In Essex County:
i.  In the Township of Verona:
(1) Far side bus stops along the northbound (easterly) side:
(A) Nassau Road (105 feet)
(2) Near side bus stops along the southbound (westerly) side:
(A) Martin Road (120 feet)
ii.  In the Township of Cedar Grove:
(1) Near side bus stops along the northbound (easterly) side:
(A) Eaton Place – Beginning at the southerly curb line of Eaton Place and extending 105 feet southerly therefrom.
(B) Scheiber Terrace - Beginning at the southerly curb line of Scheiber Terrace and extending 105 feet southerly therefrom.
(C) Sweetwood Drive – Beginning at the prolongation of the southerly curb line of Sweetwood Drive and extending 105 feet southerly therefrom.
(D) Grissing Court - Beginning at the southerly curb line of Grissing Court and extending 105 feet southerly therefrom.
(E) Union Street – Beginning at the southerly curb line of Union Street and extending 105 feet southerly therefrom.
(F) Cedar Street  Beginning at the southerly curb line of Cedar Street and  extending 105 feet southerly therefrom.
(G) Peckmantown Road - Beginning at the southerly curb line of Peckmantown Road and extending 105 feet southerly therefrom.
(H) Little Falls Road (County Route 617) – Beginning at the southerly curb line of Little Falls Road (County Route 617) and extending 105 feet southerly therefrom.
(I) Brunswick Road – Beginning at the prolongation of the southerly curb line of Brunswick Road and extending 105 feet southerly therefrom.
(J) Bortic Road – Beginning at the southerly curb line of Bortic Road and extending 105 feet southerly therefrom.
(K) Beech Street – Beginning at the prolongation of the southerly curb line of Beech Street and extending 105 feet southerly therefrom.
(L) Stevens Avenue (County Route 616) – Beginning at the southerly curb line of Stevens Avenue (County Route 616) and extending 105 feet southerly therefrom.
(M) North Bradford Avenue – Beginning at the southerly curb line of North Bradford Avenue and extending 105 feet southerly therefrom.

(1) No stopping or standing along the northbound (easterly) side between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM Monday through Friday:
(A) Between a point 105 feet north of the center line of East Bradford Avenue and a point 230 feet north of the center line of Cedar Street.
(B) Between a point 105 feet north of the center line of Bowden Road and a point 120 feet south of the center line of Peckmantown Road.
(2) No stopping or standing along the southbound (westerly) side between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM Monday through Friday:
(A) Between the center line of Brunswick Road and a point 650 feet south of the center line of Grove Avenue.
(B) Between a point 850 feet south of the center line of Grove Avenue and a point 120 feet north of the center line of Church Street.
(C) Between a point 300 feet south of the center line of Church Street and a point 120 feet north of the center line of West Bradford Avenue.
