Route US 40
(a) The certain parts of State Highway Route US 40 described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “no stopping or standing” zones, where stopping or standing is prohibited at all times:
1. In Salem County:
Note: State Highway Route US 40 is coincident with State Highway Route I-295 from approximate mileposts 0.00 to 0.95 and is under Delaware River and Bay Authority jurisdiction for this length.
Note: State Highway Route US 40 is coincident with the New Jersey Turnpike from approximate mileposts 0.95 to 1.70 and is under New Jersey Turnpike Authority jurisdiction for this length.
Note: State Highway Route US 40 is coincident with State Highway Route NJ 45 from approximate mileposts 10.02 to 10.67.
i. In the Township of Carneys Point:
(1) No stopping or standing along both sides:
(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits, including all ramps and connections thereto which are under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions.
ii. In the Township of Pilesgrove:
(1) No stopping or standing along both sides:
(A) Between a point 400 feet west of East Lake Road and a point 750 feet east of East Lake Road (approximate mileposts 11.60 to 11.80).
(B) Between Jill Road and Sharptown-Auburn Road.
iii. In the Borough of Woodstown:
(1) No stopping or standing along both sides:
(A) Between the easterly curb line of East Wilson Avenue and the prolongation of the westerly curb line of Richman Street.
(2) No stopping or standing along the eastbound (southerly) side:
(A) Between the easterly curb line of Main Street and a point 80 feet easterly therefrom.
(3) No stopping or standing along the westbound (northerly) side:
(A) Between the easterly curb line of Main Street and Bullet Lane.
(4) No stopping or standing along both sides (Route US 40-NJ 45)
(A) Between Green Street westerly and the Woodstown Borough – Pilesgrove Township westerly corporate line.
(B) Between the westerly curb line of Main Street and a point 150 feet westerly therefrom.
iv. In the Township of Upper Pittsgrove:
(1) No stopping or standing along both sides:
(A) Between a point 800 feet west of the junction of Route NJ 77 traffic circle, and a point 800 feet east of the Route NJ 77 traffic circle, including all ramps and connections under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation.
(2) No stopping or standing along the eastbound (southerly) side:
(A) Between a point 1,700 feet east of the center line of Salbtown Road and a point 2,370 feet easterly therefrom.
(3) No stopping or standing along the westbound (northerly) side:
(A) Between a point 1,850 feet east of the centerline of Salbtown Road and a point 1,700 feet easterly therefrom.
(B) Between a point 650 feet west of the center line of Salbtown Road and a point 850 feet westerly therfrom.
v. In the Borough of Elmer:
(1) No stopping or standing along the eastbound (southerly) side:
(A) Between the easterly curb line of County Route 648 (North Main Street) and a point 68 feet easterly therefrom.
2. In Gloucester County:
Note: State Highway Route US 40 is coincident with State Highway Route NJ 47 from approximate mileposts 26.71 to 27.21.
i.In the Township of Franklin:
(1) No stopping or standing along both sides:
(A) Between the Franklin Township – Upper Pittsgrove Township corporate line and the intersection of US 40-NJ 47 (approximate mileposts 24.55 and 26.71).
(B) Between the westerly curb line of Trail Road to the easterly curb line of Elmwood Avenue.
(C) Between a point 1,000 feet west of the westerly curb line of County Road 555 (Main Lake Road) and a point 1,000 feet east of the easterly curb line of County Road 555 (Main Lake Road).
(2) No stopping or standing along the eastbound (southerly) side:
(A) Between a point 600 feet east of the prolongation of the easterly curb line of Oak Lane and the westerly curb line of Old Delsea Drive.
(B) Between the prolongation of the westerly curb line of Dutch Mill Road and a point 285 feet east of the prolongation of the easterly curb line of Elmwood Avenue.
(C) Between a point 1,250 feet west of the westerly curb line of Grub Road and the westerly curb line of Grub Road.
(3) No stopping or standing along the westbound (northerly) side:
(A) Between the prolongation of the westerly curb line of Grub Road and a point 1,250 feet west of the prolongation of the westerly curb line of Grub Road.
(B) Between a point 285 feet east of the easterly curb line of Elmwood Avenue and the easterly curb line of Dutch Mill Road.
(C) Between the westerly curb line of Dutch Mill Road-Defiance Road and a point 600 feet east of the easterly curb line of Oak Lane.
3. In Atlantic County:
Note: State Highway Route US 40 is coincident with State Highway Route NJ 50 from approximate mileposts 46.39 to 47.01.
Note: State Highway Route US 40 is coincident with State Highway Route US 322 from approximate mileposts 57.77 to 64.32 (end of route) where it is under county (Atlantic County) jurisdiction from approximate mileposts 64.08 to 64.32.  For parking and stopping regulations in this section see Route US 40-US 322.
i. In the Borough of Buena:
(1) No stopping or standing along the eastbound (southerly) side:
(A) Between a point 306 feet east of the easterly curb line of Arbor Avenue and a point 70 feet easterly therefrom.
(2) No stopping or standing along the westbound (northerly) side:
(A) Between a point 100 feet east of the easterly curb line of South Boulevard and a point 155 feet west of the westerly curb line of North Boulevard.
ii. In the Township of Buena Vista:
(1) No stopping or standing along both sides:
(A) Between the easterly curb line of Route NJ 54 and the westerly curb line of the most westerly driveway to the Buena Vista Township Municipal Building (approximate mileposts 35.13 to 36.15).
(2) No stopping or standing along the westbound (northerly) side:
(A) Between the center line of County Route 540 and a point 115 feet east thereof.
iii. In the Township of Hamilton:
(1) No stopping or standing along both sides:
(A) Between Linwood Avenue and Babcocks Creek.
(B) Between the easterly side of Old Harding Highway and a point 1,500feet east therefrom.
(2) No stopping or standing along the westbound (northerly) side:
(A) Between Linwood Avenue and Farragut Avenue.
(B) Between the easterly curb line of Route NJ 50 and a point 250 feet easterly therefrom.
(3) No stopping or standing along both sides (Route US 40-NJ 50):
(A) Between the centerline of Route NJ 50-Mill Street and a point 200 feet east of the centerline of Central Avenue.
(b) The certain parts of State Highway Route US 40 described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “no parking bus stop” zones, where the parking of any vehicle other than omnibuses, picking up or discharging passengers, is prohibited at all times:
1. In Atlantic County:
i. In the Township of Buena Vista:
(1) Near side bus stops along the eastbound (southerly) side:
(A) Country Club Lane – Beginning at the prolongation of the westerly curb line of Country Club Lane and extending 105 feet westerly therefrom.
(B) Washington Avenue – Beginning at the westerly curb line of Washington Avenue and extending 105 feet westerly therefrom.
(C) Main Avenue – Beginning at the westerly curb line of Main Avenue and extending 105 feet westerly therefrom.
(D) Greenbriar Avenue – Beginning at the westerly curb line of Greenbriar Avenue and extending 105 feet westerly therefrom.
(E) Llewellyn Avenue – Beginning at the westerly curb line of Llewellyn Avenue and extending 105 feet westerly therefrom.
(2) Far side bus stops along the eastbound (southerly) side:

1. In Salem County:
i. In the Borough of Woodstown:
(1) Two (2) hour time limit parking between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM along both sides, Monday through Friday:
(A) Between Main Street and Spring Garden Street.
(B) Between West Maple Avenue and East Wilson Avenue.
(C) Between Richman Street and the Woodstown Borough-Pilesgrove Township corporate line.
(2) Two (2) hour time limit parking between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM along the eastbound (southerly) side, Monday through Friday:
(A) Between a point 80 feet east of the easterly curb line of Main Street and West Maple Avenue.
(3) Two (2) hour time limit parking between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM along the westbound (northerly) side, Monday through Friday:
(A) Between a point 250 feet east of the easterly curb line of Main Street and West Maple Avenue.
