Speed Limits For State Roads

Route NJ 79
(a) The rate of speed designated for the certain parts of State Highway Route NJ 79 described in this subsection are hereby established and adopted as the maximum legal rate of speed:
1. In Monmouth County:
i. In the Township of Freehold:
(1) For both directions of traffic:
(A) Zone 1: 40 MPH between Route US 9 and Moreau Avenue (approximate mileposts 0.00 to 0.35); thence
(B) Zone 2: 35 MPH between Moreau Avenue and the southernmost Freehold Township-Freehold Borough corporate line (approximate mileposts 0.35 to 0.58); thence
(C) Zone 3: 40 MPH between the northernmost Freehold Borough-Freehold Township corporate line and Ryan Boulevard (approximate mileposts 2.42 to 2.51); thence
(D) Zone 4: 50 MPH between Ryan Boulevard and the Freehold Township-Marlboro Township corporate line (approximate mileposts 2.51 to 3.91); thence
ii. In the Borough of Freehold:
(1) For both directions of traffic:
(A) Zone 1: 35 MPH between the southernmost Freehold Township-Freehold Borough corporate line and Route NJ 33 (Park Avenue) (approximate mileposts 0.58 to 0.74); thence
(B) Zone 2: 30 MPH between Route NJ 33 (Park Avenue) and Douglas Road, except for 25 MPH when passing through the Saint Rose of Lima School zone (approximate mileposts 0.98 to 1.15) and the Freehold High School zone (approximate mileposts 1.97 to 2.17) during recess when the presence of children is clearly visible from the roadway or while children are going to or leaving school, during opening or closing hours (approximate mileposts 0.74 to 2.20); thence
(C) Zone 3: 40 MPH between Douglas Road and the northernmost Freehold Borough-Freehold Township corporate line (approximate mileposts 2.20 to 2.42); thence
iii. In the Township of Marlboro:
(1) For both directions of traffic:
(A) Zone 1: 50 MPH between the Freehold Township-Marlboro Township corporate line and 235 feet north of Brandon Road (approximate mileposts 3.91 to 5.33); thence
(B) Zone 2: 40 MPH between 235 feet north of Brandon Road and 415 feet north of Buck Lane (approximate mileposts 5.33 to 5.79); thence
(C) Zone 3: 50 MPH between 415 feet north of Buck Lane and Wyncrest Road Road, except for 35 MPH when passing through the Marlboro High School zone, (approximate mileposts 6.36 to 6.64) and the Central Elementary School zone, (approximate mileposts 7.32 to 7.42) during recess when the presence of children is clearly visible from the roadway or while children are going to or leaving school, during opening or closing hours (approximate mileposts 5.79 to 7.71); thence
(D) Zone 4: 45 MPH between Wyncrest Road and Ridge Road (approximate mileposts 7.71 to 8.26); thence
(E) Zone 5: 50 MPH between Ridge Road and Brown Road (approximate mileposts 8.26 to 9.38); thence
(F) Zone 6:40 MPH between Brown Road and Church Lane (approximate mileposts 9.38 to 10.18); thence
(G) Zone 7:45 MPH between Church Lane and the Marlboro Township-Matawan Borough corporate line (William Street) (approximate mileposts 10.18 to 10.93); thence
iv. In the Borough of Matawan:
(1) For both directions of traffic:
(A) Zone 1:40 MPH between the Marlboro Township-Matawan Borough corporate line (William Street) and Claire Court (approximate mileposts 10.93 to 11.69); thence
(B) Zone 2:30 MPH between Claire Court and Route NJ 34 (end of route) (approximate mileposts 11.69 to 12.13).
(a) The rate of speed designated for the certain parts of State Highway Route NJ 44 described in this subsection are hereby established and adopted as the maximum legal rate of speed:
1. In Gloucester County:
i. In the Township of Logan:
(1) For both directions of traffic:
(A) Zone 1: 45 MPH between Barkers Avenue and 1,150 feet north of the southbound overpass of Route US 130 (approximate mileposts 0.00 to 1.15); thence
(B) Zone 2:  50 MPH between 1,150 feet north of the southbound overpass of Route US 130 and the Logan Township-Greenwich Township corporate line (approximate mileposts 1.15 to 2.14); thence
ii. In the Township of Greenwich:
(1) For both directions of traffic:
(A) Zone 1: 50 MPH between the Logan Township-Greenwich Township corporate line and a point 1,470 feet south of the Conrail Railroad underpass (approximate mileposts 2.14 to 2.60); thence
(B) Zone 2:  40 MPH between a point 1,470 feet south of the Conrail Railroad underpass and a point 640 feet south of Tomlin Station Road (County Route 607) (approximate mileposts 2.60 to 3.00); thence
(C) Zone 3:  35 MPH between a point 640 feet south of Tomlin Station Road (County Route 607) and the Greenwich Township-Paulsboro Borough corporate line (Billingsport Road), except for 25 MPH when passing through the Gibbstown Elementary School zone (approximate mileposts 3.51 to 3.74) during recess when the presence of children is clearly visible from the roadway or while children are going to or leaving school, during opening or closing hours (approximate mileposts 3.00 to 5.18); thence
iii. In the Borough of Paulsboro:
(1) For both directions of traffic:
(A) Zone 1: 35 MPH between the Greenwich Township-Paulsboro Borough corporate line (Billingsport Road) and the Paulsboro Borough-West Deptford Township corporate line (Mantua Creek) (approximate mileposts 5.18 to 6.31); thence
iv. In the Township of West Deptford:
(1) For both directions of traffic:
(A) Zone 1: 35 MPH between the Paulsboro Borough-West Deptford Township corporate line (Mantua Creek) and a point 755 feet north of the Paulsboro Borough-West Deptford Township corporate line (Mantua Creek) (approximate mileposts 6.31 to 6.45); thence
(B) Zone 2: 50 MPH between a point 755 feet north of the Paulsboro Borough-West Deptford Township corporate line (Mantua Creek) and Cento Boulevard (approximate mileposts 6.45 to 7.88); thence
(C) Zone 3: 45 MPH between Cento Boulevard and a point 880 feet south of Church Street (approximate mileposts 7.88 to 8.37); thence
