NJ Business Pulse Survey

The New Jersey Business Pulse survey is a monthly survey administered by the New Jersey Department of the Treasury. The monthly survey data provide a real-time gauge of current and future economic conditions, supplementing what we learn from conventional economic indicators. Respondents represent a wide spectrum of industries and firm sizes. The survey was first administered in April 2011. The survey is sent on the first day of each month to a pool of roughly 1,200 firms located in New Jersey. About 100 responses are received each month. The monthly survey write-ups and raw tabulated data are included below.
