20th Annual Summit at the Hyatt Regency in Princeton
Thank You

Thank you to all who made the Council’s 20th Annual Summit such a success: honorees, attendees, presenters, speakers, exhibiters, and Cou ncil staff. Thanks also to the New Jersey Prevention Network and Partnership for a Drug-Free New Jersey for providing additional event staff for the Summit. To Lynn Edwards, a special thank you, for her moving remarks and for presenting the W. Cary Edwards State Volunteer of the Year Award to Laurie Smith of Atlantic County.

The Council is appreciative to all who provided Summit evaluations which, from their review, leads us to conclude the Summit was indeed a success: 86 percent of attendees found the overall quality of the Summit to be outstanding or excellent; 85 percent found the keynote speech to be outstanding or excellent; and others were similarly pleased with the Summit management, registration process, and even the Summit’s food and beverage.

SUMMIT FEEDBACK

“One of the best GCADA summits; excellent speakers and topics, gave me hope for the future of prevention and treatment.”

“I overall loved this conference and I look forward to attending many many more.”

“My first time here. I was very impressed. Amazing all the knowledge in this room and used for a common cause.”

“Keynote speaker was great! He did an excellent job talking about need to remember ‘the person’ we work with and he included ‘his story’ which personalized the message. A message that reminds the volunteers why they are volunteering in prevention.”
