Aetna, Cigna, and Horizon have developed applications for the iPhone, smartphones, and other web-enabled mobile devices to provide State Health Benefits Program (SHBP) or School Employees’ Health Benefits Program (SEHBP) members with plan information "on the go."
Medco Health Solutions, Inc. has also developed the Medco Pharmacy mobile app for its Prescription Plan, now available at no cost on BlackBerry® and Android™ smartphones using the Verizon Wireless network.

When someone goes to Aetna.com from their mobile phone's web browser, they can:
- Find a doctor, dentist, or other facility
- Look up a claim

Cigna HealthCare members
Cigna offers members instant access to Cigna Mobile 24/7 by typing, www.myCigna.com into your mobile web browser. Once logged in, you can access:
- Cigna's Health Care Professional Directory to find a doctor or facility by name, distance, location, and specialty
- An Urgent Care Center to assist with unexpected critical health issues
- GPS capabilities (when enabled on the mobile device)
- "Click-to-call" a Cigna participating doctor or facility

Horizon BCBSNJ offers a mobile version of its Web site for Horizon members with
a Web-enabled cell phone, smartphone, or other mobile device.

Medco Pharmacy Mobile App
Medco Prescription Plan members
The Medco Pharmacy mobile app is available at no cost on BlackBerry® and Android™ smartphones using the Verizon Wireless network. The app includes real-time, member-specific drug safety and savings information through three helpful features:
- My Rx Choices — Enables members to view potential lower-cost options available under their plan; view any medication coverage limitations; and receive drug safety alerts when applicable.
- My Medicine Cabinet — Lets members schedule reminders for when to take prescriptions or over-the-counter (OTC) medications; set alerts to notify them when their medication is running low; and receive alerts online if there is a risk of a medication-related safety issue between their prescription and OTC medications, vitamins, or supplements.
- Prescription ID Card — Gives members immediate access to their prescription card details, for convenience on the go.
The new Medco Pharmacy mobile app helps members get the most from their prescription drug benefit.
