PFRS BOARD ELECTION UPDATE
The PFRS firefighting election for representative on the PFRS Board of Trustees begins on March 1, 2012. The vendor contracted to handle the election for the Division of Pensions & Benefits (Election-America) will mail election packets to the certifying officers of the PFRS firefighting locations on or about March 1, 2012. PFRS firefighting members may choose one of the following candidates:
Brady Middlesworth (Ventnor City Fire Department) or Timothy Colacci (North Hudson Regional Fire & Rescue)
Eligible PFRS firefighting members may vote either by Internet, telephone or paper ballot. All votes are secret and must be cast by no later than April 27, 2012. Please contact your employer (via the Pension’s certifying officer) if you are an eligible PFRS firefighting member and have not received your election packet by March 20, 2012.
The new firefighting representative will be announced on June 1, 2012 and the new 4-year term begins on July 1, 2012.
