Traditional Plan Premium Sharing for Retiring State Employees
For those who reach 25 years of service between 7/1/2003 to 6/30/2007
and those who retire on a disability retirement 8/1/2003 to 6/30/2007
Revised 5/1/2005

The following unions have settled contracts with these provisions:

NJ PLUS & HMOs - Retiree pays no premium even if cost is higher than Traditional Plan

Traditional Plan - Retiree pays 25% of the premium

State will reimburse the current cost of Medicare Part B premium up to $46.10 per month, but will not reimburse for those hired on or after 7/1/1995.
