Notice of Intent to Participate in Cooperative Contract – State of Utah’s WSCA contract for Tires, Tubes and Services.

Notice is hereby given that the State of New Jersey intends to participate in the State of Utah’s WSCA contract for Tires, Tubes and Services. The State intends to award contracts to Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations, LLC and The Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. Information regarding the WSCA contract may be found on the WSCA website at: http://www.aboutwsca.org/contract.cfm/contract/w17b-2007.

The State of Utah’s contract has a term of three (3) years from April 1, 2012 through March 31, 2015. The contract may be extended for an additional four (4) years in two (2) year increments upon mutual agreement of the parties.

The period for comments expires on September 4, 2012.

The State of New Jersey is permitted to join cooperative purchasing agreements under the authority of N.J.S.A. 52:34-6.2.
