SERVICES FOR INDIVIDUALS
The Division provides various
services for individuals. The following provides some information relating
to these services.
You can obtain information
about different methods of filing your individual income tax return electronically
as part of the Electronic Filing Program (ELF).
It is possible for individuals to file directly from their computer (e-file).

page for commonly occurring NJ-1040 filing errors.
You may also be able to pay
your taxes with a credit card by making either
a toll free telephone call or directly over the Internet. New Jersey State
Personal Income, Estimated, and Fiduciary Taxes may be paid with MasterCard,
American Express, Visa, and Discover/Novus credit cards.
The Commercial Recording Unit
is the primary information repository for the State's business, legal
and financial communities. You can get an application for a Notary
Commission or request an Apostille from the Division.
