Changes to the Property Tax Reimbursement Program (Senior Freeze)

Eligibility requirements, including income limits, and benefits available
under this program are subject to change by the State Budget.

2013 Property Tax Reimbursement. Any changes to the eligibility requirements and benefit amounts for 2013 property tax reimbursements will not be finalized until the completion of the State Budget that must be adopted by July 1, 2014. This means that the requirements for a 2013 reimbursement, including the income limits, may be changed by the State Budget. Updated information on changes to the Senior Freeze Program for 2013 will be posted as it becomes available.

Note: For 2012 the State Budget limited reimbursement payments to certain applicants. Only those applicants whose 2011 income did not exceed $80,000 and whose 2012 income did not exceed $70,000 (the original limit was $82,880) were eligible to receive reimbursement payments for 2012, provided they met all the other program requirements. The State Budget may apply similar limitations for 2013.
