Due to privacy concerns, the Division of Taxation has removed the requirement to provide Social Security numbers on forms which are publicly available. As a result, the following sales tax exemption forms have been revised so that any reference to the purchaser’s Social Security number now requires only the last three digits.

ST-10	Motor Vehicle Sales & Use Tax Exemption Report
ST-10V	Vessel Dealer Sales & Use Tax Exemption Report
ST-7	Farmer’s Exemption Certificate

All of the forms affected are available online. These forms may be downloaded and printed for use.

Motor vehicle and vessel dealers which make the ST-10/ST-10V available to customers are advised to discard any copies of the old version of these forms and begin using the new version with the 6/06 revision date immediately.
