New Jersey Department of Agriculture will hold a
public hearing on the re-proposed new rule, N.J.A.C.
2:85, concerning the procedure for the application
and awarding of leases of state owned lands for agricultural
production. This re-proposal was published in the
March 1, 1999, New Jersey Register.
The
public hearing will be held on Thursday, May 13,
from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm in the Board Room at the
New Jersey Department of Agriculture, John Fitch
Plaza, Trenton. Persons wishing to send written comments
prior to the hearing may send them to Louis A. Bruni,
NJDA, Division of Rural Resources, PO Box 330, Trenton,
New Jersey 08625-0330. Written comments submitted
on May 13 should be addressed to George Horzepa,
