(TRENTON) – New Jersey Agriculture Secretary Charles M. Kuperus
today urged farmers in the state to nominate their
peers who are respected role models and leaders
in the agriculture industry for the prestigious
2006 Mid-Atlantic Master Farmer award.
The award, co-sponsored by the publication, “American Agriculturist,” and

New Jersey has a rich farming heritage that continues today. The Master Farmer
award is a way to recognize the innovative individuals who keep agriculture going
strong in the most densely populated state in the nation.
