2018 New Jersey History and Historic Preservation Conference

WHAT:

The New Jersey History and Historic Preservation Conference is an annual statewide educational and networking event for history and historic preservation professionals and volunteers in the fields of architecture, planning, heritage site and museum management, public history, archaeology, municipal preservation commissions, county heritage offices, developers, students, and more. This year’s theme is “Building a Place for History.” 

Lieutenant Governor Oliver’s welcome remarks will precede a day filled with educational opportunities, including a panel discussion on the future of historic preservation in a changing world of cultural fragmentation, political transformation, and digital technology, 17 classroom session options, and tours of Paterson’s commercial historic district.
