The New Jersey Children’s Trust Fund (NJCTF) is a public/private partnership created by law to fund child abuse and neglect prevention, identification, and treatment programs in New Jersey.
NJCTF is primarily supported through a check-off on New Jersey residents' annual state income tax filings, though the fund can also receive individual and corporate donations for the purposes of preventing child maltreatment. The New Jersey Task Force on Child Abuse and Neglect oversees and approves expenditures from the fund, with priority given to evidence-based and evidence-informed prevention programs and innovative initiatives.
