Subject [SRRA] Annual Report to the Senate Environment and Energy Committee

Deputy Commissioner Irene Kropp and Assistant Director David Sweeney appeared before the Senate Environment and Energy Committee on December 9, 2010 to present the first annual report regarding the implementation of the Site Remediation Reform Act, as required by Executive Order #140, signed by Governor Corzine.

The Department has posted the handout presented to the Committee during the hearing. The presentation includes statistics detailing various aspects of the Licensed Site Remediation Professional program, including the number of cases being remediated under this new remediation paradigm (both as "new cases" and early "opt in" cases), number of reports submitted by LSRPs, and improvements in the inspection/review document processing time frame for LSRP submittals.
