Subject [SRRA] SRPL Board Professional Conduct Committee to Hold Open Forum on July 25

Greetings!

The Professional Conduct Committee of the Site Remediation Professional Licensing Board has prepared a draft narrative and a flowchart that describe a process for pursuing disciplinary actions involving Licensed Site Remediation Professionals.

The Committee is seeking feedback on the proposed disciplinary process and has decided to hold an Open Forum on Monday, July 25, 2011 from 4 to 6 p.m. in the DEP Public Hearing Room at 401 East State Street in Trenton. The Committee encourages all interested parties to attend this meeting and provide comments and suggestions on the proposed disciplinary process. Following the Open Forum, the Committee will review all the comments received and propose a final process to the Board for discussion and approval.

If you plan to attend the Open Forum, please email Karen Hershey at Karen.Hershey@dep.nj.gov to inform her that you will be participating. Recipients of this email are free to forward this information to others who may be interested in attending.

If you are unable to attend the Open Forum but wish to send written comments for consideration by the Professional Conduct Committee, please email your thoughts and suggestions to Karen Hershey at the address above no later than July 29, 2011.

The narrative describing the proposed disciplinary process and the accompanying flowchart can be found on the Board's web site at https://www.nj.gov/lsrpboard/board/disciplinaryprocess.htm

Thank you.
