[SRRA]: Technical Guidance Training: Historically Applied Pesticide Site

Training on the Historically Applied Pesticide Site Technical Guidance document will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2016 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM (check-in at 8:30 AM) in the DEP Public Hearing Room, 401 E. State Street, Trenton.

Program Description:
This training session is designed to introduce the key elements of the NJDEP's recently issued Historically Applied Pesticide Site Technical Guidance. The presentation will define what historically applied pesticide (HAP) contamination is and provide a streamlined approach to the identification, investigation, delineation and remediation of sites that may be impacted by HAP. The training will discuss how to select locations for taking background samples and when blending of HAP impacted soils is appropriate.
